“We are aware that some customers are experiencing slowness when trying to access account information. We are working to improve the situation as soon as possible. Customer information remains safe and secure,” a spokesperson for BoA at Insider.

Down Detector for BoA ​​showed more than 12,000 complaints Friday morning, with customers saying they couldn’t access their balances or transfer money, expressing concern about paying bills due on the first of the month.

Insider attempted to log into the company’s mobile app, but received an error message that read, “We’re sorry, we couldn’t process your request. Please try again.”
