TORONTO, June 9, 2022 /CNW/ – CIBC ranked first in overall customer satisfaction for online banking among from Canada The Big Five Banks according to the JD Power 2022 Canada Online Banking Satisfaction Study, a global leader in consumer insights, advisory services, data and analytics.

From February to April 2022, JD Power Canada’s 2022 Online Banking Satisfaction Study measured overall online banking satisfaction based on 1) navigation, 2) speed, 3) appeal visual and 4) information/content. CIBC’s online banking service scored the best for navigation and visual appeal.

CIBC’s online banking platform continues to see an increase in usage, with digital transactions increasing 6.7% year-over-year and more than 93% of daily transactions occurring through the through digital channels.

CIBC continues to provide several digital tools and features to support customers’ everyday online banking experiences, including:

  • the new from CIBC Interace-Transfer® feature that allows customers to set up recurring or future transfersInteracPayments by electronic transfer;

  • CIBC’s Instant Digital Card Replacement, available to most clients with a CIBC personal or business credit card which, in the event of their card being lost or stolen, provides clients with immediate access to a replacement card that can be used with Apple Pay or Google Pay.
