Another said: “Here we go again. Online banking/offline apps. I can’t get through. What’s going on… again?”
The Co-operative Bank apologized to any customers affected by banking problems, adding that technical teams were “investigating” the issues.
Responding to a customer, the bank said: “I am very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you. We have investigated this morning.”
The problem now appears to be fixed, reports from Down Detector suggest.
The bank had asked some customers to try logging out and then logging back into their accounts.
About 21% of customers were having trouble connecting to The Co-operative Bank’s online services.
It comes just weeks after Natwest and RBS mobile banking app outages left many customers unable to access their accounts online.
