HDFC Bank, the largest private bank in the country, has informed that online and mobile banking services will remain closed on July 18 between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The services will be temporarily suspended due to the maintenance work scheduled by the bank that will be carried out during this period. The bank informed its customers of this by e-mails and messages.
“Due to scheduled maintenance, the Net / Mobile Banking application will not be available on July 18, 2021 from 00:00 to 06:00. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused,” the bank said in an email to customers.
HDFC Bank is constantly trying to provide better services to its customers. The bank recently announced plans to provide mobile automated teller machines (ATMs) to 50 locations in 19 cities. Customers can perform 15 types of transactions from these ATMs.
Meanwhile, HDFC Bank is set to report its FY22 first quarter results today, according to the bank’s Twitter announcement on Friday. HDFC Bank shares on BSE closed at Rs 1,521.7 each on Friday, up 0.08% from the previous close.
Analysts from various financial institutions and corporations said the bank will experience 30% year-over-year growth on a weak basis. The bank’s net profit stood at Rs 6,658.6 crore in the previous year period (Q1 FY21) and Rs 8,186.5 crore in the March FY21 quarter (Q4 FY21).
Recently, HDFC Bank won the prestigious “Best Bank in India” award at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2021 for the third year in a row.
In a statement, the bank said that in the 29 years of the Euromoney Awards existence, HDFC has been recognized as “Best Bank in India” for 14 years since its inception in 1995.
