What you should know
High score provides agents with a branded web hub for marketing materials and customer communications. It is accessible via a URL in a standard desktop or mobile environment.
It’s simple in concept and not overdone. It is also designed to be very flexible in terms of the type of content it can host and the business purpose it serves.
Just as Slack centralizes and categorizes desktop communications, HighNote can do the same for your pre-announcement pitch, agent or team profiles, local market guides, property histories, outages. brokerage, formal ad presentations and offer presentations. Essentially, whatever kind of content you want to showcase and share. It should also be effective in recruitment and retention.
Warranties, links and documents are displayed as a series of cards scrolling vertically under a banner image, preferably with contact information and eye-catching images. Each card has an indicator that reveals its media type, whether it’s a link, video, PDF, or image file.
While HighNote’s tools support content, it’s not the direct authoring tool, it’s its host.
However, unlike Google Docs or Dropbox, which also store and share critical business data, HighNote eliminates the clinical nature and, most importantly, the hassle of accessing corporate storage and sharing platforms. (How many times have you had to allow access to another party’s or customer’s alternate email address?)
HighNote Pages can also be tailored to the culture and approach of your team or brokerage firm, avoiding third-party vendor logos and native presentations.
HighNote takes the hassle out of sending offers or presentations via email and gives clients and colleagues a single, secure place for relevant business intelligence to call home.
A user metrics dashboard is integrated with the administration experience to track the frequency of access to a HighNote page. Users can see which components sparked the most interest, when, and what got them there.
Some smart uses of HighNote would be to consolidate and present virtual tours. If you are using it as an ad presentation vehicle, be sure to share a digital ad deal.
HighNote was developed by Mark Choey from San Francisco, who is an Inman contributor and co-founder of Climb Real Estate. Naturally, Choey felt the pain of trying to present a professional image while having several tech tools work together to do so.
YouTube links and Matterport videos can also be embedded in HighNote pages.
Creating a HighNote page shouldn’t slow down web-savvy, remote real estate professionals. User experience takes advantage of drag-and-drop content placement, simple text editing, and stock photography for hero images.
A particularly interesting (I expect more) HighNote integration is with CloudCMA, which is now part of Lone Wolf Technologies. Choey said white labeling is on the roadmap, as is in-app communications between team members.
And because it brings all your marketing information together in one webpage, you won’t need 10 tabs or multiple apps open when it’s time to meet a prospect or customer through Zoom. Open your HighNote, share your screen, and earn business.
On that note, be aware that HighNote itself might not be the only reason you’re gaining a new listing or seven-figure buyer. Be aware of testimonials that suggest this.
The product may be unique to you among the three or four agents a person interviews, but you will still need to fill it in with compelling reasons why you are the best agent in the bunch.
Overall, I am a huge fan of this product. Choey brings immediate credibility and his use cases in the industry are endless. I compare him to Studeo and Prezi, digital marketing tools that, when used correctly, enhance your message, without overwhelming it.
