New Delhi: Internet banking allows you to transact quickly and conveniently. Online banking has made all banking functions accessible with just a few clicks. However, this feature should be used with great caution due to the risk of phishing – a fraudulent way of obtaining your confidential banking information. Here are the tips for online banking secured by SBI:

* Access your bank’s website only by typing the URL into your browser’s address bar.

* Be aware of downloading any malicious apps from mobile app stores (Google Playstore, Apple App Store, Blackberry App World, Ovi Store, Windows Marketplace, etc.) that offer online banking services. Please verify their authenticity before downloading them, by contacting your bank.
