Customers using Natwest and RBS banking apps reported issues with mobile banking apps this morning.
Reports began appearing on Down Detector, a website outage reporting service, for RBS at 6:57 a.m., while the Natwest outage began at 6:53 a.m.
In both mobile banking apps, 56-57% of users were unable to access their mobile banking services.

Natwest said it was “not aware of any ongoing issues” with the mobile banking app.
Responding to a customer on social media, Natwest said: “We are not aware of any ongoing issues with our mobile app, but thanks for bringing this to our attention, we will take a look. .”
Users have taken to Twitter to voice their concerns.
The outage affected customers across the country – although mobile apps and online banking now appear to be working.

Royal Bank of Scotland is working to resolve the issue
RBS responded to some customers on social media, describing “an issue with the mobile app and online banking”.
An RBS spokesperson tweeted: “We are aware of an issue with the mobile app and online banking and the team is working hard to resolve this issue.”
