Reports of NatWest app downtime are pouring in today, with users reporting issues with the big bank’s online banking app. Independent outage monitor Down Detector recorded an increase in outage reports from NatWest which began around 2pm UK time. According to statistics from Down Detector. the majority of issues with the NatWest app are related to the mobile connection.
NatWest Status’ official page has confirmed that its online banking mobile app is experiencing “disruption”.
The main bank said: “We are sorry if you are having any issues with our mobile app, we are working hard to resolve this issue.”
NatWest’s status page indicates that all other services are currently functioning normally.
When the NatWest issues hit, users took to Twitter to report the issues they were facing with the app.
One tweeted: “@NatWest_Help what’s going on with the app?”.
While another posted: “@NatWest_Help Having trouble with the app today? Having trouble logging in”.
One added: “@NatWest_Help your mobile app is down again making it impossible to approve payments.”
And another wrote: “@NatWest_Help My app is not working. I need to transfer funds and I can’t! Really unhappy.”
The official NatWest Help Twitter has been busy responding to users experiencing issues and said in the replies that while there were issues with the app, it should now be fixed.
In a response posted around 3 p.m., the NatWest Help Twitter account posted, “We are aware there were issues accessing the app, but everything is back up and running now.”
