Online education platform Veranda Learning files Rs 200-cr IPO documents with Sebi

Online education platform Veranda Learning Solutions Ltd has filed preliminary documents with financial market regulator Sebi to raise Rs 200 crore through an initial sale of shares.

The initial public offering (IPO) is the primary issuance of capital stock, according to the Red Herring Draft Prospectus (DRHP).

The company may consider a private placement of equity shares totaling Rs 50 crore.

Proceeds from the public offering will be used for redemption or prepayment, lending, withdrawal of Edureka acquisition consideration and growth initiatives. Veranda is a comprehensive 360 ​​degree online education platform. It is engaged in offering diverse and integrated learning solutions in blended online, hybrid offline and offline formats to students, aspiring and graduate professionals and corporate employees.
