According to a press release issued Thursday, Raising Cane’s has provided educational benefits to its crew since 2011, and now the Partnership with LSU offers the option of applying the benefit to certain LSU online diploma or certificate programs.
This Partnership is part of Raising Cane’s larger initiative to provide their crew with holistic educational benefits. Raising Cane’s is currently funding the training of hundreds of managers and is delighted to be able to provide this support to the crew and their immediate families.
“From the early days of the original Cane’s at the north gates of LSU, it was important to me that Raising Cane’s was a great place to work. Our exceptional crew is as much who we are as our delicious chicken dishes, and we are committed to providing them with the tools and opportunities to grow and succeed. Giving our crew the opportunity to graduate from the university where our story began means a lot to me ”, said Todd Graves, founder and CEO of Raising Cane.
Crew members can use tuition reimbursement up to $ 5,250 per year for any degree, including online bachelor’s, master’s, graduate certificate, and post-baccalaureate degrees and professional development certificate programs.
“This partnership helps advance the lives of these crew members and their families, personally and professionally,” said Sasha Thackaberry, vice president of LSU Online & Continuing Education. “These benefits will help motivated individuals pursue their career goals and ultimately graduate with less debt.”
