Is Santander down?
Some customers have reported issues with the bank’s website, noting that an error page is displayed when they attempt to navigate there.
The webpage reads: “There seems to be a problem.
It could be because:
- there is a problem with our server
- you tried to access a secure page that you previously bookmarked”
Many users have taken to social media to vent their frustration and seek help from the bank’s official customer service account.
One user wrote, “I can’t log in to my account. The website says it’s offline! What’s going on?”
Another customer added: “Santander business banking website is down – when will this be fixed please?”
A third person complained: ‘Couldn’t log into my account – very slow internet banking – looks like there are some issues.’
The bank has yet to confirm the outages, but responded to a customer on Twitter, explaining, “We haven’t received any further reports and are not experiencing any issues on our end, but would love to help!
The customer service account recommended “logging in through the app if possible, to see if you run into any issues.”
