SBI customer alert! No online banking service available during this period

The State Bank of India (SBI) said its digital services will remain affected for a few hours due to maintenance work on August 6 and 7. SBI’s digital banking platforms, including Yono, Yono Lite, online banking and Yono Business, will remain affected between 10:45 p.m. on August 6 and 1:15 a.m. on August 7.

“We ask our valued customers to stay with us as we strive to provide a better banking experience,” SBI tweeted.

Posting an announcement with the tweet, SBI said, “We will be undertaking maintenance activities between 10:45 p.m. on August 6 and 1:15 a.m. on August 7 (150 minutes). During this period, online banking / Yono / Yono Lite / Yono Business will be unavailable. “

We regret the inconvenience caused and ask you to be patient, added the country’s leading lender.

Meanwhile, to protect the interests of its clients, the country’s largest lender, the State Bank of India (SBI) has launched a new and improved security feature – “SIM Binding” in Yono and Yono Lite.

The new version of these platforms will protect customers against various digital frauds. With the SIM link function, YONO and YONO Lite will only work on devices with a SIM card of mobile numbers registered with the Bank.

To access the new version of Yono and YONO Lite with enhanced security features, users will need to update their mobile app and complete the one-time registration process on those apps.

In other news, the SBI on Wednesday announced a 55.25% increase in after-tax profit to ??6,504 crore for the quarter ended June, helped by lower bad debt provisions and higher non-interest income. The lender’s after-tax profit was ??4,189 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
